Bouncy. That might be the first word to come in mind when viewed by someone with a preference for females. This blonde-haired-blue-eyed cat girl had a hefty bust that was barely contained by the overalls she was wearing, and nothing else. Worse still, was the way she would shamelessly go about her work repairing vehicles wearing such an outfit; the only thing practical about it were the pockets, and the addition of brown work boots and gloves to protect her hands. A set of goggles rested on her head when they weren't over her eyes. She seemed to often be squinting in the sunlight that gleamed down on her, in her auto-shop in the middle of nowhere.
Personality:
Harvey projects herself as being a very cheery and happy-go-lucky individual. She can get a bit distracted by her own thoughts which can make her come off as ditsy and spacey, but she has a a surprising amount of intelligence which she doesn't care to show off. You can see a more serious side to her when she was deeply fixated in her work. The only surefire way to see her angry is to interrupt her during that time. She adores fixing and improving things, and that includes people. She also has a penchant for creating the strangest works of art using scraps and junk parts that she collects whenever she can.
Likes: Juiceboxes, overalls, her trusty wrench, getting her hands dirty, frilly dresses, her cousin, larping, exploration, big cities, night life, and talking long walks that last the entire night.
Dislikes: BEING INTERRUPTED, trying to sleep, anyone who can't change a tire, overly forward men, people afraid to work up a sweat, and getting sunburn.
HISTORY
Backstory:
Harvey's father was an alcoholic and a very controlling husband; this caused her mother to leave when she was around 8 years old, to be brought up under the strong influence of her dad and older brother, who was 10 years her senior. She turned away from feminine activities as a child such as playing with dolls or dress-up. She instead liked trouncing around in varying terrain around her house; from woods, to desert, to mud lands. She also loved to help her dad with whatever kind of work he had to do around their house, including working on his truck when it broke down.
Her school years were lonely. In elementary, she was too rambunctious for her fellow students, shoving handfuls of worms in their faces and telling them to look at what she found. Harvey got into a lot of small scraps with students who would make fun of her, and this would continue into middle school. She wasn't afraid to stand up for herself or anyone being bullied, but this didn't make her popular. School did provide an outlet for Harvey to discover an artistic side to herself when she took art and wood shop classes.
Moved to Downtown LA to study engineering. It was there that she found a cure for the anxiety that was plaguing her nightly due to insomnia: night walks. In the a big city that barely slept, Harvey felt like she was free to stay awake like she felt like she naturally should, and could easily for days on end. On nights before exams, she would take her textbook with her and read while she walked the streets, using the extra senses from her whiskers and tail to avoid others, glancing up only to cross the streets. Strangely, she felt no anxiety related to the possibility of being mugged or killed.
Present Day:
Got her degree in Mechanical Engineering, took out a loan, and found a location outside of the city. There was a convenience store/ gas station parked next to an auto repair shop, both up for sale. It seemed like the flawless set up, except that it was located near the desert. Still, the outlandish location was not enough to deter Harvey, and she snapped it up on the spot. She's been operating the establishment for 2 years and counting, with the help of hired hands.
