Nickname: Anju Age: 16 (born May 18th) Gender: Female Species: House cat Orientation: Straight Status: Single Occupation: Shut-in princess
Physicality: 5'0", 97 lbs. Small and petite, this kitty excuded an aura of purity and class. She carried herself much like a princess should, sporting either the most stylish clothing or her favorite striped yellow-green dress. Said dress was adorned with a luxurious and poofy white underskirt and a gem flower adornment upon the left hip. She wore a matching choker, boots, and clips and bows adorned in her hair. She had a somewhat husky-like fur pattern; she was creamy light brown with white markings extending from her mouth, down her stomach, arms, all the way to the tips of her toes. Darker chocolate fur surrounding her eyes, ears, back, tail, and outer thighs. A diamond shaped marking lays in the center of her face, set between two piercing indigo eyes. Her soft chestnut hair was usually secured in a high ponytail with decorative bow or hair tie. Personality: Anju has both quiet, serious, calm, and reflective side, and playful, thrill-seeking flirtatious side depending on her mood. She is a shy and cautious person, being very careful who she spends her time with and wastes her 'energy' on. Being alone and in nature recharges her. Once she deems someone worthy, she becomes overly attached to them and is easily blinded to their wrongdoings. Even though she is formally uneducated, she doesn't come off as unintelligent, just ignorant to a lot of things that most would consider common elementary knowledge. She is naive, but acts quite regally and takes pride in herself. She can be convinced of some things easily, but it's still difficult to take advantage of her because she's intuitive and knows when she's being used.
HISTORY
Backstory:
Became fascinated with becoming a princess at a very young age. Her parents were strict and disappointed that their only child would rather prance around in pretty dresses than do chores, somehow having no understanding for a child's mentality. They often would get sick of it and hide what few outfits they allowed her. Anju felt dejected by them and it lead her to rebel and run away from home when she was 10.
For months Anju lived like a feral animal, sleeping in the wild and barely surviving off of whatever scraps she could manage to get from begging friendly looking passerbys in the far-away town that she had made it to. Mental anguish mixed with starvation and exposure caused her to begin acting bizarrely; she began talking to the flowers and empty spaces.
One day, while in a meadow of a public park, Anju was conversing with a flower, caressing it gently and telling it not to worry because she would be a princess soon. An elderly gentleman approached her and told her that he spoke to the flowers too, a statement that surprised the young cat. He told her that the flowers told him of her wish to be a princess and they had sent him there to grant it. He asked him to join him in his gardens where he claimed to have the friendliest flowers of them all. She followed him to his beautiful estate and was shockingly not brutally murdered.
Present Day:
The lonely and eccentric man adopted her, having her live in his glorious chateau and treating her like the princess she always wanted to be, but not giving her normal father-daughter affection, and also not bothering to educate her like she would have been in school. It just so happened that the odd man also happened to be the cousin to a king, and his only surviving relative as everyone closer in line, including the king's sons, had all passed before him. As luck would have it, the king died and Anju inherited the title of princess. Unfortunately, her adopted father followed his cousin to the grave within a few months, and the new princess was forced to live alone with a few servants in the now lonely estate.
RELATIONSHIPS
Flowers -- Her only friends. She can often be found relaxing in a big bed of flowers in her personal flower garden surrounding her chateau. They were her only friends when Anju had no one in her life, and she continues to humanize them, and speak to them to this day. She sometimes even sheds tears when she picks them. The colony of all different species of flowers growing and wilting together is what makes her desire connections with others.
